Quote: "The Globalization and commercialization of education technology, the quality of education, the merits of distance versus campus based learning, and the very nature of learning institutions themselves." (Weller, 2002, p. 19)
Response: I believe this is some what of a good thing that we can now use computer to work at home and outside of the classroom. The new era of technology has allowed many people who can't make to school to now take online class to advance their knowledge. Not only has technology done this but we as students can communicate with other from all over the planet; allowing us to get a better knowledge of what is happening there. However I do feel that we are losing the the cause for campuses and school of any sorts, and this many not be a good thing. I do embrace the future and hope for the best as the time comes to where there will be no school necessary for learning.
